What is Nasi Kandar?
According to Wikipedia:
"Nasi kandar is a popular northern Malaysian dish, which originates from Penang. It was popularized by Indian Muslim traders from India. It is a meal of steamed rice which can be plain or mildly flavoured, and served with a variety of curries and side dishes."
Now if you ask me, the one thing that makes Nasi Kandar so special is the vast variety of the different types of curries and gravies that you would not possibly know exists. You can pretty much add a bit of each of the curries and gravies to create a plate of mixed curries and gravies.
Imagine how each spoon of rice tastes... 😝🤩
Nasi Kandar is a must try food when you come to Penang. After all, it originates from Penang, so where else could you get a better Nasi Kandar than Penang?
Line Clear is one of the top Nasi Kandar in Penang.
